KMRE Group announces landmark residential development

Landmark residential development : Works are progressing at pace at ‘The Residence’ – a chic new residential development on Kirkstall Road in the central Leeds district – due for completion later this spring.

Developer KMRE Group Ltd is bringing to market 111 exclusive apartments at the scheme, which is located within walking distance of Leeds city centre.

One, two and three-bedroom apartments are available, featuring open-plan living spaces and high-spec fixtures and fittings, including integrated appliances and quality kitchens and bathrooms.

Landscaped grounds knit the development together, which offer resident parking, on-site cycle storage and balconies with views of the city and beyond.

KMRE Group Ltd has an ongoing commitment to bringing new homes to Leeds, having previously completed schemes in the city centre, as well as further afield in Sheffield, York and Nottingham.

In walking distance of central Leeds, The Residence offers easy access to the city’s prime retail offering including Victoria Leeds – a recently expanded shopping destination, housing a collection of exclusive high-end retailers, including John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, Mulberry, SpaceNK, Vivienne Westwood, Louis Vuitton, & Other Stories, as well as several independent boutiques and rooftop restaurants.

Trinity Leeds, which opened in 2013, is one of the city’s newest large-scale shopping centres, featuring 120 stores and a range of restaurants and bars including Trinity Kitchen – a unique pop-up eatery space, featuring a vibrant mix of street food outlets.

The development is also in close proximity to the vibrant Headingley area – a popular urban hub for professionals, students and families with its quirky bars, small businesses and thriving culinary scene.

Home to Yorkshire County Cricket Ground and Emerald Headingley Stadium, it’s a favoured destination for sports fans too, and is widely considered to be one of Leeds’ most up and coming districts.

Classed as the financial centre of the North, Leeds offers a fantastic range of employment opportunities and is home to major employers including Channel 4, Sky Limited, Capita and First Direct, and following the BBC’s announcement of its ‘The BBC Across the UK’ plan earlier this month, it has been revealed that the broadcaster plans to move two BBC News teams and other departments to Leeds, to create jobs and investment within the city.

Leeds has also recently been named as the best place to live and work in the north of England in the latest Demos-PWC Good Growth for Cities Index, which measures the performance of 42 UK cities against ten categories including income, employment, work-life balance and transport, amongst other criteria.*

Elland Road stadium, home to Premier League team – Leeds United – is also a short distance outside of the city centre, along with cultural attractions including the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds Grand Theatre – the home of Opera North, Northern Ballet and West Yorkshire Playhouse – the largest production theatre outside of London, solidifying Leeds as a go-to destination for residents, tourists and sports fans alike.

The scheme recently opened the doors to its show apartment, giving interested parties an opportunity to view the development and get a glimpse of the chic, metropolitan lifestyle on offer.

Interested buyers wishing to view the development are invited to contact KMRE to book an appointment – with COVID-safe measures in place.

Kam Mogul, director at KMRE Group Ltd, said: “The Residence offers buyers a unique, exclusive and highly convenient place to live in the heart of Leeds.

“It is currently the only residential development under construction so close to Leeds city centre and the business district and because of that, we have already seen considerable interest.

“Leeds continues on its upward trajectory and with its significant business district, abundant employment opportunities, and enviable retail and food offering, there is a growing demand for central city living.

“With one, two and three bedroom apartments available, The Residence offers a variety of price points to suit most buyers, and being in such a prime location – close to open green spaces, the city centre and Headingley – the development really is a wonderful place to live.

“Myself and the KMRE team are enjoying watching the development progress and we look forward to welcoming new residents to their homes later this spring.”
