Embracing Darkness

Dark, rich colours effortlessly create an atmosphere of warmth and cosiness–perfect for colder months. While the trend is mostly associated with monochromatic tones, it also celebrates natural colours like greens and blues which are already popular this year. Imagine walking into a space that exudes a sense of peace and tranquillity. The colour scheme is composed of rich, deep tones that immediately create a feeling of calmness. These earthy and muted colours have the ability to transform any room into a timeless space that exudes both classic and contemporary elements. They also add a sense of history and elegance, perfectly curating a trend that will never go out of style.

Dazzling Metallics

Gold is a precious metal that has been revered throughout history for its beauty and rarity. Its natural shine and lustre make it an ideal choice for adding an element of luxury and elegance to any home décor. When combined with other dazzling metallic elements, it can create a sense of celebration and opulence. Brushed brass pieces emit a warm and inviting glow that evokes a sense of sophistication and refinement, perfect for setting the mood during the festive Christmas season.

Jewel Tones

Without a bauble in sight, you can still create a festive ambience through use of colour throughout your space. By incorporating colours inspired by natural jewel tones such as deep, saturated shades like ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green, amethyst purple, and golden yellow within your space, there will be a subtle feeling of festivity in the air without excessive decoration of tinsel and baubles.

Deep Navy and Twinkling Silver

The combination of navy and silver in this palette creates a contemporary take on the classic pairing of red and green. The deep blue hue of navy, along with the metallic shine of silver, enhances the overall look and feel of the design. The resulting aesthetic is both polished and stylish, evoking a sense of refinement and elegance. The harmony between these complementary colours produces a visually pleasing and graceful outcome.

Minimalism

If you have a preference for understated and simplistic décor, then modern Christmas decorations are just what you need. This style places emphasis on neutral tones and clean lines, allowing minimalism to take centre stage. Imagine a Scandinavian Christmas setting, where a beautifully crafted wreath made from delicate twigs is adorned with a single white candle, creating an atmosphere of serenity and calm. You can also set your dining table with clean lines, neutral hues, and natural materials such as wood and linen to further enhance the minimalist look.

Intertwining storytelling with design to evoke a clear picture of each member of the household, the Andrew Henry Interiors design team created an unforgettable show home at Locking Parklands in Weston-super-Mare. Showcasing the quality and appeal of the 124 new sustainable homes by housing association and housebuilder Curo, the four-bedroom property has been transformed into a vibrant retreat for an eco-conscious family who encourage and celebrate each other’s unique qualities.

Curo’s brief requested that the design steered away from a typical show home and painted a clear picture of the different individual personalities living in the house. An industrial look to indicate the inhabitant’s stylish taste and an element of surprise were also key elements of the brief. Dianna Colwell, lead designer at Andrew Henry Interiors, comments: “All families are unique, with different qualities and quirks. Viewers at Locking Parklands will be able to envisage what each family member living in this show home is all about; the children’s hobbies, the parent’s interests and the outdoor activities they enjoy together as a family.”

Starting with the kitchen, the specially selected worktops made from Dekton ‘Trillium’ quartz, which is 80% recyclable, influenced the colour and material palette used throughout the house. Inspired by volcanic stones with intense grey and black tones and subtle hints of copper, the beautiful matt surface creates a stand-out feature which is complemented by light cashmere coloured kitchen cabinets with copper handles. Practical for family living, the kitchen and living room feature furniture to match the industrial theme. Complementing the dark wood herringbone flooring, a large black dining table with a mixture of brown leather chairs and upholstered bench seating, creates a functional and stylish kitchen/dining space. A feature light adds interest over the table and a note on the notice board about surfers campaigning to combat sewage in the sea informs visitors of the family’s commitment to saving the planet. Dianna adds: “The overall aesthetic is industrial, yet cosy. We introduced forest green and blush to the bedrooms to add warmth and nod to the home’s location, surrounded by woodland. We also used a lot of natural materials and textures to enhance the eco conscious ethos of the development and to tie in with the professions of the parents and the interests of the family.”

In the living room, a bespoke media unit and radiator cover maximise the space. Neutral sofas accessorised with black, white and beige textured cushions, a large Crittall style mirror and a statement rug blend industrial

minimalism with sophisticated comfort. The downstairs cloakroom re-introduces the copper from the kitchen worksurfaces with wallpaper by Galerie on a feature wall which continues up and over the entire ceiling. Completing the ground-floor, a spacious entrance hall accessorised with captivating artwork, which celebrates Weston-super-Mare’s lesser-known historical moments, provides several surprises.

The parents’ professions as a marine biologist who studied at Bristol University and a Conservation and Ecology professor at Exeter University are also referenced throughout the home. Books on the shelves in the study give viewers clues and books in the guest bedroom give a nod toward interests such as local history, local nature and British Sealife. There is ornamental coral in the ensuite linking to the sea theme.

The four upstairs bedrooms reveal further insight into the home’s inhabitants. In response to Curo’s brief, one of the children’s bedrooms suggests an interest in marine conservation. Although beach themed at first glance, this is not your typical teenage girl’s bedroom. Striking mural wallpaper featuring an image of a huge wave, life size wall paintings of a surf board from several angles and snorkelling and surfing equipment provide this insight. Black bedroom furniture including a desk and subtle accessories like a bronze tortoise ornament placed on the window sill, a sea green velvet armchair and peach accents complete the space.

A second children’s bedroom displays a love of football and support for the local team with a framed Weston-super-Mare kit, an eye-catching green mural over one wall and striking black and white striped wallpaper on another which continues up and over the ceiling. The elegant primary bedroom fuses industrial features including bespoke black wall panelling surrounding a neutral fabric headboard, which covers the entire back wall. A brass industrial looking chandelier hangs over the bed which is accessorised with a mixture of dark blush velvet and black and white textured cushions. A bespoke canvas featuring a stunning seascape, created by Andew Henry Interior’s in-house artist Sadie Vile, reflects the parents love of the ocean which has been passed onto the children.

Jodie Winter at Curo concludes: “Andrew Henry Interiors nailed this design. The team understood our brief and has injected personality and spirit with their approach and produced a memorable show home which brings excitement to every day family life. We’ve created a green and sustainable environment at Locking Parklands and it’s wonderful to have a show home that reflects this commitment.”

 • Searches for ‘what are shaker kitchens’, are up by 100% in the past 12 months
 • Showroom development and design director at Wren Kitchens shares his design tricks for styling shaker kitchens

The Shaker kitchen design has transcended time, maintaining its popularity due to its classic simplicity and functional appeal that suit almost any taste. This style has become a timeless choice for those seeking a kitchen that has both charm and practicality.

With searches for ‘what are shaker kitchens’, up by 100% in the past 12 months, Darren Watts, Showroom Development and Design Director at Wren Kitchens, has shared top tips to help you achieve a timeless aesthetic.

Neutral elegance in colour palette

Embrace a neutral colour palette that embodies elegance and timelessness. Look for whites, creams, and latte to create a clean and open feel. Muted hues like soft greens, smoke blues, or greys can add a touch of sophistication while maintaining the Shaker simplicity.

Timeless hardware selection

Pay attention to the details by selecting timeless hardware. Look for handles and knobs in materials like brushed nickel, chrome, or brass as seen in the Shaker Classic. Keep the design simple and understated, ensuring that the hardware complements rather than competes with the clean lines of the Shaker cabinets.

Subway tile backsplash for classic appeal

Incorporate a classic subway tile backsplash to add texture and visual interest. White or light-coloured tiles with a beveled edge evoke a sense of tradition, enhancing the charm of the Shaker kitchen.

Open shelving for functionality

Enhance the openness of your Shaker kitchen with open shelving. Display your kitchenware on simple wooden shelves, keeping the design uncluttered. This addition not only serves a functional purpose but also aligns with the emphasis on simplicity.

Classic lighting choices

Select lighting fixtures that embody classic design principles. Pendant lights or chandeliers with timeless aesthetics, such as glass, metal, or simple fabric shades, can elevate the overall look of your kitchen. Lighting is an opportunity to add a touch of sophistication while staying true to the elegant theme.

Planning a Kitchen Extension https://www.padmagazine.co.uk/regeneration/planning-a-kitchen-extension/ https://www.padmagazine.co.uk/regeneration/planning-a-kitchen-extension/#respond Wed, 03 Jan 2024 10:12:15 +0000 https://www.padmagazine.co.uk/?p=22153 Expanding the footprint of the kitchen is one of the best ways to turn a small, awkward space…]]>

Expanding the footprint of the kitchen is one of the best ways to turn a small, awkward space into a versatile area for the entire family. Contemporary kitchens serve as more than just cooking areas; they encompass living, dining, entertaining, studying and more. A kitchen extension allows you to create the ideal layout for an interconnected open-plan space that encompasses all these functionalities.

Undertaking a kitchen extension, regardless of its size or style, is a substantial project. Given the cost involved, creating a design which delivers is key.

Here, Al Bruce, Founder of Olive & Barr shares his top tips for planning the ultimate kitchen extension.

Purpose and Functionality

“It might seem obvious, but one of the first things to consider when undertaking a kitchen extension is how are you going to use the space and what you hope to gain from it. Do you need more general living space for your growing family, or perhaps you are a keen cook who requires a dedicated area to entertain, or, is gardening your passion and you would love to create more of a connection between indoors and outdoors.

By breaking down your ideas you can begin to create a non-negotiables list, prioritising key items that your new extension needs to include. This might be a boot room, a large kitchen island or bi-fold doors to create a light-flooded living space.

At this stage, it’s good to note down your favourite kitchen styles, perhaps a traditional painted shaker kitchen is your preference or maybe a Scandi minimalist wood design. Once you have gathered your ideas perhaps using a scrap or notebook (drawings or a mini mood board help here too), you can discuss your plans, both big and small, with a kitchen designer, who will help guide you in prioritising your requirements.”

The Budget

“As one of the most common types of home renovation, kitchen extensions are known for increasing the overall value of a property.

The cost can vary depending on many factors which include size, structural work, quality of materials and more, don’t forget that there can be hidden costs, which is why it’s always worth including a contingency within your budget. Relocating the kitchen will mean extra expense, so if you’re planning to do this take into account the plumbing and electrical fees. Remember, to familiarise yourself with local building regulations and seek planning permission if needed, these will also be an additional cost to factor in.

Finally, don’t forget to set a realistic budget for your kitchen design and discuss with your kitchen designer what is included in the overall cost, this will ensure you know what the final fee will be and you can get started on the fun part (without any worry of hidden costs) of designing your dream kitchen.”

The Kitchen Design

“Undoubtedly you have already envisioned your dream kitchen, now it’s time to convey these ideas to a kitchen designer. A design consultation is the perfect opportunity to discuss plans, including all those little details, these appointments are usually free too. A designer will reference the plans working alongside your team, be it a builder or architect, together your vision will be brought to life.

Planning the layout thoughtfully will enable you to have a kitchen that provides all those key wish list items and more. Remember to try and visualise the entire space, consider where you will stand to cook and what your outlook will be, for example. The small details often make the biggest difference. Connection is an important factor, where will you entertain and dine and what is the flow like between the zones within the kitchen. Your new kitchen should enhance your day-to-day life, so ask the designer about any smart storage solutions, appliances or materials that will suit your lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.”

Homeowners are being told of seven colours they should avoid painting their bathroom in order to achieve a stylish and modern look.

Luxury bathroom experts at Poshh.co.uk have revealed bright whites and shades of reds and blacks can be overbearing.

Bathrooms should be calming and relaxing environments and choice in colour can affect the atmosphere created in the room.

Adding colour is a great way to give character to the space but opting for the wrong shades can make the space look intense and distasteful.

Andy Ellis from Poshh.co.uk said: “It’s important to make the bathroom a calm and relaxing space but there are certain colours which can interrupt this atmosphere.

“White is a very popular bathroom colour but picking a bright shade makes marks more prominent. Instead it’s best to pick a softer shade to avoid a cold and harsh look.

“Incorporating colours is a great way to add character to your space but overusing reds, greens and blues can make the space look overbearing.

“If you’re unsure, the best way to incorporate colours is by doing so through small accents. This can be through towels or other bathroom decor like tray organisers and candles.”

7 colours you should never paint your bathroom:

Bright white

Bright white is a popular option but it can be more maintenance as dirt and stains can be more prominent. It’s good to opt for something light, but consider picking a softer, off white colour.

Red

Bathrooms tend to be confined spaces and red can be overpowering and intense in such a small area. If you still want to add a bright pop of colour do it through small accents like towels or ornaments and decor.

Blues

Although blue seems like a natural colour, it can give the bathroom a cold and hard look. You can still opt for blues, but try to pick a shade that is softer.

Black

Dark bathrooms are popular and can look luxurious and expensive but it can be hard to get them right. Instead, consider adding black throughout the bathroom in other ways. Paining it all black can draw the space inward and make it appear dark and dreary.

Dark brown

Dark browns can quickly make the bathroom look outdated especially when incorporated into tiles and cabinetry. To achieve an earthy and modern look opt for lighter shades of brown.

Grey

Grey is another colour to be careful with. Small accents of grey can help your space look high end but too much can make the bathroom look dull and ruin the lighting.

Green

Although green can be associated with nature, bright shades may be too intense in the bathroom. To create a calming space opt for accents of darker, emerald tones of green.

Engineered Wood Flooring: Eco Credentials https://www.padmagazine.co.uk/interior-design/engineered-wood-flooring-eco-credentials/ https://www.padmagazine.co.uk/interior-design/engineered-wood-flooring-eco-credentials/#respond Wed, 20 Dec 2023 10:41:57 +0000 https://www.padmagazine.co.uk/?p=22041 Choosing eco-friendly flooring is a key step in creating an environmentally conscious living space. Choosing eco-friendly flooring is a key step in creating an environmentally conscious living space. Many homeowners are looking to lower the impact of their renovation by choosing materials which are kinder to the environment.

With that in mind, Natalie Mudd, Creative Director at The Wood Flooring Co, explores the sustainable elements of engineered wood flooring and why it is the perfect choice for the home.

Low Emissions

Engineered wood flooring boasts minimal VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions, making it a health-conscious choice for both your home and the environment. Considering the potential short and long-term health impacts of VOCs found in materials, opting for low-emission products is key.

Materials like vinyl or LVT flooring, produced with plasticisers and PVC, are toxic during production and aren’t recyclable. (Take a look at our ‘No-Vinyl Tile’ collection for an alternative.) Equally, wood flooring is biodegradable and crafted from natural components devoid of harmful chemicals. Wood also aids in absorbing carbon dioxide, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Reduced Waste

In the production of solid wood flooring, a considerable amount of wood is discarded due to imperfections like knots. In contrast, engineered wood flooring utilises various wood grades, resulting in fewer leftovers. Therefore, any offcuts can be repurposed instead of being discarded, significantly reducing waste.

At The Wood Flooring Co, our manufacturing facility is dedicated to achieving climate-neutral production by 2025 and has committed to several ecological initiatives. These encompass heating the factory through sawdust produced during manufacturing, exclusive reliance on renewable energy for electricity and meticulous waste separation, allowing 99% of waste to be reused.

The Use of Recycled Materials

Engineered wood flooring differs from solid wood as it comprises multiple layers, with the top layer being genuine hardwood. This means less hardwood is required, therefore making it a smart and sustainable choice for the home. Furthermore, the core of engineered wood, typically high-density fibreboard (HDF) or plywood, uses fewer natural resources compared to solid wood. Benefitting not only your pocket but also the environment.

With the increase in demand, we are seeing a considerable number of manufacturers prioritise using recycled wood for the flooring’s core layer, reducing the demand for newly acquired materials.

By choosing a wood floor, you inherently make an eco-conscious decision, as wood stands as a renewable, sustainable resource that can be utilised without a negative impact on the environment.

A Durable and Long-lasting Choice

Finally, engineered wood flooring stands out for its remarkable durability and longevity, rendering it a sustainable choice that will stand the test of time. Unlike several other flooring options, it can undergo sanding and refinishing multiple times allowing for less wastage of materials and resources.

Opting for engineered wood flooring can prove a sustainable and wise decision for your home. With its minimised use of natural resources, reduced waste production, lower VOC emissions, utilisation of recycled materials, it’s enduring and durable nature, it’s a brilliant choice for the eco-conscious.

Brits are being advised on how to build a DIY bar in their home before the festive season kicks in.

The glass experts at MeandMyGlass.co.uk have shared their guide on how to build an at-home bar for the Christmas festivities.

Adding a bar to the home makes a great space for hosting and entertaining and can be a really exciting feature.

With the festive season approaching homeowners are being given top tips on how to go about building their at home bar.

John Cutts, founder from MeandMyGlass.co.uk said: “Building your own DIY bar can actually be fairly easy if you know what you’re doing and it’s a great hosting space throughout Christmas!

“Bars look great in small spaces too which mean no matter the size of your home you could include this feature.

“Even if you’re not a drinker, a bar is a great feature to have in the home, stock it up with your favourite soft drinks or turn it into a coffee station.

“To make the process as simple as possible it’s good to go into the project knowing what you want your bar to look like. This will help save you both time and money!”

How to build an at home DIY bar:

 1. Find a space

Find an empty space in your home that would be suitable for your bar, this could be off of your living room, in your kitchen or near your dining space.

 1. Use your space effectively

If you don’t have the space for a cabinet or table then build a bar using wall mounted shelves. This can be much more affordable than designing a full bar. If you’re after a sleek and classy look then glass shelving is a great option, if you prefer a more rustic feel then consider wood.

 1. Repurpose old furniture

Old cabinets, bookshelves and tables can easily be repurposed and used as part of a bar. Freshen up the furniture with a coat of paint of your choice.

 1. Use second hand furniture

If you don’t have any old furniture lying around consider buying some second hand from online marketplaces.

 1. Add some artwork

Decorate your bar feature by including some artwork of your choice on the wall. Not only will this help the bar to stand out but it will also add some character to the area.

 1. Think about your display

At home bars look great when there are some bar utensils on display. Having things like glasses, drinks and cocktail sets on display can add to the atmosphere of the area.

 1. Add lighting

Adding some dim lighting around the bar area is an easy way to add to the ambience to the space. For an inexpensive option opt for some fairy lights that you can drape. For a more luxurious feel go for light fixtures or lamps.

 1. Add some decorations

An at home bar can quickly feel cold and uninviting so consider warming it up with things like plants and picture frames.

 1. Use versatile glasses

Having different glasses for different drinks can become very expensive. Try opting for glasses that can be used for a variety of cocktails and spirits in order to save you money and maximise your space.

Households are being offered tips on how to keep their Christmas tree healthy throughout the festive season.

The green-thumbed experts at GardeningExpress.co.uk are sharing eight ways to ensure Christmas trees survive the entire advent.

The Christmas tree is placed in the heart of a home and many will want it to look its very best throughout the entire month.

However, some trees start to lose shape after a couple of weeks due to shedding and they can quickly dry out if they’re left near a heat source.

That’s why the experts are advising Brits to keep trees away from radiators and to trim the bottom before placing the stem in water.

Chris Bonnett, founder of GardeningExpress.co.uk said: “A real Christmas tree can look fantastic in a home but they can also be a handful if they’re not cared for correctly.

“It’s important to avoid placing it near any heat sources and to keep it away from dehumidifiers to ensure it survives.”

Here’s how to keep your Christmas tree healthy throughout the festive season:

 1. Keep it away from heat

Avoid placing the Christmas tree near any radiators. Not only can it dry out the branches, but it also imposes a fire risk if it’s directly touching the branches.

 1. Check for mites

Real Christmas trees can harbour nasty critters like mites that can spread around the home and make their way into a mattress. Keep an eye out for tiny specs and yellow or brown discolouration as it could indicate their presence.

 1. Look for damage before buying the tree

The secret to a long-lasting tree is to buy a healthy one to begin with. Brown discolouration and dry branches are signs of dehydration or damage to a Christmas tree. Make sure to feel the branches before purchasing to test their durability.

 1. Don’t overdo it with decorations

While many like to go for an extravagant tree, it may be best to keep decorations to a minimum for real Christmas trees. An overload of decorations can stress the branches and cause them to snap.

 1. Opt for LED lights

Too many lights can dry the tree out due to the excess heat. When decorating, opt for LED lights which will help transmit less heat compared to typical bulbs. This will ensure branches don’t dry out as quickly.

 1. Trim the bottom of your tree before placing it in water

Most sellers snip the bottom of a tree beforehand, but it’s worth trimming it off once again to remove any excess sap which has grown over and put it in water for extra effect.

 1. Keep dehumidifiers away

Dehumidifiers are a great way to control humidity levels during winter, but if the devices are turned on for a prolonged period near a Christmas tree, they can dry out the branches and cause them to weaken. Place them on the opposite end of the room and track the humidity level.

 1. Monitor water levels

Christmas trees can consume almost two litres of water each day so make sure to monitor water levels and top up when necessary.

As we approach 2024, the integration of 3D technology and artificial intelligence (AI) will redefine the landscape of Building Information Modelling (BIM)-based industries such as facility management, lighting design, engineering and architecture.

Martin Huber, co-founder and CEO at Amrax, a 3D modelling and spatial data capture company, outlines how these trends, particularly in the operational and refurbishment phases, can provide a competitive advantage over more traditional approaches.

1. AI-Enhanced BIM for Efficient Facility Management

“In facility management, AI-integrated BIM is a game-changer. AI emerges as the next logical step in the evolution of facility management. By 2024, AI algorithms will be able to mine BIM data to predict maintenance needs and optimise building operations. This shift from reactive to proactive maintenance will drastically reduce downtime and operational costs, providing a substantial competitive advantage.

“BIM models have already had a transformative effect on construction operations, moving project management processes to cloud environments. Moreover, the integration of sensors and automation in operations management is further contributing to this transformation.

“For example, a quality manager notes an incomplete flashing outside a window, as commonly done, AI algorithms analyse this data and automatically identify it as a potential waster issue. This information is then highlighted for the superintendent’s review on the dashboard. This system is accessible to all users of the collaboration platform. ”

2. 3D Modeling in Renovation and Retrofitting: Scan to BIM

“3D technology is revolutionising renovation and refurbishment projects. 3D scanning technologies allow for precise mapping of existing structures, making it easier to plan and execute. When combined with AI, these models can suggest the most efficient and cost-effective renovation strategies, a crucial advantage in the competitive AEC/O industry.

“Example: In a historical building renovation, 3D scanning can be used to create an accurate model of the building. AI can then analyse this model to suggest the best methods for preserving original features while upgrading the building for energy efficiency.”

3. Intelligent Lighting Design

“AI and 3D technologies are transforming lighting design by enabling more personalised and energy-efficient solutions. AI algorithms can analyse 3D models of spaces and suggest lighting designs that optimise for both aesthetics and energy consumption.

“Example: For a new office complex, AI can analyse 3D models to design a lighting system that adjusts automatically for natural light availability, enhancing energy efficiency and worker comfort.”

4. AI-Driven Optimisation in Operational Phases

“The parametric data available from Point Cloud to 3D model is a rich and accurate view of the building asset. This information allows architects, engineers, and designers to plan and modify building systems including electricity, HVAC and plumbing. The data storehouse also helps manage the building utilities and chart out preventive maintenance.

“In the operational phase of buildings, AI-driven 3D models can play a pivotal role. These models can be used for space optimisation, energy management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. AI can process data from various sensors within a building to provide real-time insights, allowing for more efficient building management.

“Example: In a large retail space, AI-driven 3D models can optimise the layout for customer flow and product placement, using data from foot traffic and sales patterns. This can lead to increased sales and improved customer experiences.”

5. Enhanced Collaboration in Renovation Projects

“The greatest advantage of BIM Services is information transparency. The 3D model can be shared with all project collaborators. Changes at any construction phase are updated in real-time stored in the cloud and are accessible to all stakeholders through the model. This helps reduce miscommunication and conflicts. This streamlined workflow facilitates faster and more successful project completions. Cross-Platform compatibility and seamless integration will be key to success in 2024.

“Example: During the renovation of a multi-story apartment building, BIM services allow for real-time updates to the 3D model. This ensures that all contractors and designers are working with the most current information, reducing errors and delays.”

6. Predictive Analytics for Long-Term Building Health

“AI’s predictive analytics applied to 3D building models can anticipate long-term building health and performance. This is crucial for facility managers and architects who are responsible for the upkeep and renovation of buildings, as it allows for more informed decision-making. This trend is particularly relevant in the context of green building practices and sustainability goals.

“Example: AI predictive analytics applied to a 3D model of an ageing bridge can forecast potential structural issues, allowing for preventive maintenance that avoids costly and disruptive repairs.”

“The AECO industry is on the doorstep of a digital transformation and is poised to play a central role in tackling the pressing challenges of urbanisation, sustainability and resource management, all of which are fundamental to combating climate change.

“The trends in 3D technology and AI are set to provide significant competitive advantages in facility management, BIM, lighting design, and architecture by 2024. These technologies not only enhance efficiency and sustainability but also open new avenues for innovation in the operational and renovation phases of building management. As we move forward, embracing these trends will be key for businesses looking to stay ahead in these industries.”
