The privately owned multi service company J Tomlinson has moved further up the rankings of Nottinghamshire’s top 200 companies. The Nottinghamshire’s Top 200 Companies for 2017 list has been put together by professionals from Derby Management and is based on company turnover. Companies that are eligible for a place in the poll are those with their registered office in Nottingham or companies with an NG postcode. The businesses are ranked according to their turnover between July 1st 2015 and June 30th 2016.
J Tomlinson is a Beeston based company that operates across an expansive portfolio of services. The business offers construction and refurbishment work as well as repairs, maintenance and wider facilities management services as well as working to deliver a fully integrated solution for social housing and the built environment.
The annual list has been published for three years, with J Tomlinson working their way up the rankings gradually during this time. In 2015, the multi-service company was ranked in 75th position. Last year, the 2016 poll showed that J Tomlinson had moved up the rankings to 66th position. The latest list, published at Harts Restaurant by the Nottingham Post, the business has reached 52nd place. The event at Harts Restaurant was attended by a range of different industry professionals.
The lit included a range of household names such as Boots, Wilko, Experian, Vision Express, Paul Smith and Centre Parks. There was also a range of new businesses making it on to the list and it is great to see progress across the area. Topping the list again this year is Boots UK Ltd who, according to the list had a turnover of £11,985 million and employs 47,000.
J Tomlinson CEO Mark Davis has said that he is thrilled with the progress that has been made by the company this year and that the progress is due to continuous growth and innovation as well as dedication and hard work from their team.
